Renew Your Marriage Vows

All married couples wishing to renew their marriage vows and celebrate the Sacrament of Christian Marriage are invited to join our new Bishop on September 19, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cathedral in Lafayette. Additional information to follow.

CCD Registrations are still being accepted. You have until Friday July 30, 2010 to register your children for the program -- including Confirmation students.

Confirmation Classes:  It's time to register for Confirmation class!  Students should be entering ninth grade, have made first Confession and Communion, and have received religious education this past year. Classes will be offered on Sundays (Boys, 11-Noon, Girls 2-3 p.m.), or on Monday evenings (5:30-6:30).  Weekly classes will begin on September 19th /20th, and will continue until May 2011.  Registration forms are available in the back of Church and will be accepted until July 30.  Call Jessica Hickey for more info:  742-1351.

     August 7^th is the St Boniface Golf Outing.  Lunch, Steak Dinner, and $1,000.00 in prizes will be given away. One golfer will get a chance at a Million $ ” Hole in One”. 50/50 split ½ to the winner ½ to St. Boniface if he makes the Hole in One.      Just a reminder that Fruitful Harvest Pledges need to be fulfilled around mid-August.  The date when all final payments need to be postmarked is usually around the middle of the month.  Please complete your pledge by that time.

Get Miked!

There are two weeks and two ways to get your Mike’s Car Wash coupons.  It’s a great way to help St. Boniface because we earn 50% on each purchase for our parish.  You can buy your Mike’s on a cash and carry basis for $8.00.  You can also get your Mike’s on layaway for $4.00 each now and pay the remaining $4.00 when you pick up the coupons later.   August 1, 2010 is the last day to make your purchase.

The Poor Clare Nuns of Kokomo, Indiana will host their annual Novena in honor of St. Clare from August 2-10 at 7:30 p.m. in the monastery chapel. All are welcome to attend and experience the power of prayer and the intercession of St. Clare. Or you may send your intentions to: Monastery of the Poor Clares, 1175 N 300 W, Kokomo, IN 46901-1779.

Novena Schedule:

August 2-10 at 7:30 p.m.: Novena prayers and homily (by a different priest or deacon each evening) followed by Benediction f the Blessed Sacrament.

The final night, August 10, will also include veneration of the relic of St. Clare.

August 11 at 6:30 a.m.: A festive Mass on the Solemnity of St. Clare—all are welcome!
