"INVITATION- Everyone is invited to attend a Secular Franciscan Information Meeting in the St. Michael Center on Sunday March 14, at 2:00 p.m. Bring a friend and come learn about the Secular Franciscan life." The Gospels give more than one account of how we are to use our “talents”, e.g. Matthew 25 tells of a servant chastised by his master for not earning interest on the money left in his care. Today, St Anthony’s Bread offers us a way to serve our Master by earning interest on the money we spend. A purchase at the SAB table earns a percentage for the Lord’s Work. We still have the same money to spend on our own needs, but by converting some of it to “scrip”, we have earned interest for the Lord’s work. Take advantage of the opportunity to serve Our Lord and St. Boniface, stop by the SAB table after Mass or ask Loria or Holly for help after Benediction.
