Religious Education

The St. Boniface Office of Religious Education offers catechesis for children in grades 1-12. Our mission is to assist the parents of our parish in handing on the treasure of our Faith to their children.

Programs:

 

 

 

  • CCD School Year (September - May):  Class sessions are held Sundays, 11:00 - Noon or Mondays, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
  • First Penance & First Communion:   Students in Grade 2 and Older Childrens' Sacrament Class prepare to receive these sacraments during the year.  First Penance service is offered in February.  First Communion Masses are offered in English & Spanish during April & May. 
  • VBS:  During the summer, St. Boniface offers a Vacation Bible School with the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.
  • CONFIRMATION CLASSES:  Students aged 14-15 prepare to receive the sacrament with a program of study, devotional opportunities including a retreat on Divine Mercy Sunday, and the completion of works of mercy/service hours and an apologetics project.  Classes meet Sundays & Mondays.

CCD REGISTRATIONS:   REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. Classes will begin Sunday, September 25 & Monday, September 26, 2016. FAMILIES WHO REGISTERED THEIR CHILDREN IN OUR PROGRAM WILL RECEIVE A LETTER IN THE MAIL EARLY SEPTEMBER WITH FURTHER INFORMATION.

CONFIRMATION ENROLLMENT:    REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. Please note that families wishing to enroll students for preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation will need to provide proof of baptism and the name of an eligible Sponsor at the time of enrollment.
